Commissioned by Sustrans Scotland part of the Pocket Places Programme to create vibrant and welcoming shutter artwork to add interest into the public realm, to encourage people to explore the area on foot, bike and other non-motorised transport.
The Lucky House bold circular design full of decorative details on the inside and outside to create a colour scheme that sings joy!
Designs were inspired by the ornamental detail from Baxter Park railings and the ironwork on top of the Morgan Academy rooftop, zig zags from the public art sculptures, some of these elements are also seen in my colourful crossing up on Eliza Street which you can read about here.
You can read more about it all the shutters on my blog here
